Energy Transfer and Mass Transfer (Electrons to Photons)

Usually a solar panel is quoted for energy transfer of photons to electrons.

In day to day life, we see cutting metals and welding. Such work eject electrons from metals and thence photons are emitted.

Very similar things had happened in early days of invention of FIRE 🔥. But why don't the cutting and welding create fire. The reason may be the less amount of ejection of photons.
